Oneness in Lockdown
BBC One ‘Oneness’ idents 2020
BBC Creative launched a new set of idents as part of the Oneness campaign in response to lockdown. Creatively developed and directed by myself, Jules Middleton and Lambros Charalambous, the idents showcase a range of different and eclectic activities people continued to do to stay connected during isolation. From knit clubs to discos, the whole production was done remotely. The films were self-shot by the contributors at home and crafted by BBC Creative.
The BBC One idents are seen by approximately 34m viewers at least seven times each week so it was important to reflect what the Nation was doing during the pandemic.
